Changes and things

Virus isolates us – can’t buy stuff – CAN buy stuff – making masks – no toilet paper. Things are strange. God is STILL good. The kiddo is stuck home trying to adjust to college from his bedroom. Worms are still eating and growing –

I’m concerned that my disability may be disrupted because of stimulus and tax cuts and you know how anxiety attacks us…

We are safe as we can be and isolating. I’m about to restart my garden in an aeroponic tower. I’m really looking forward to it. Maybe I can supplement my income as prices go up. Instacart is great for grocery delivery but the tipping for people doing my shopping is gonna be more than our budget can stand.

Anyway – stay safe.

I have a beautiful new grandson – born at home in Hawaii. I am so proud of my daughter. She did a champion’s job!

Getting ready for the winter

The worms are in a bedroom and I’m just about ready to strain the castings for the first time. I’ve not been the best worm mommy but you know…only 4 or 5 try to run away at night, so they aren’t suffering too badly. Today I fed them dryer lint and gave them a quart of water sprinkled over the top. I’ve also decided to cut up a few ugly scobys to add in the bin. lol Most days, it’s still laugh or cry around here, so you’ll have to excuse my funky humor.

The cat decided to knock over my grow lights back in October. I went ahead and took down the indoor plant trays. I’m finally getting around to replacing the bulbs. I have a second worm bin coming and the clear bins for winter gardening.

I’m so glad I have these things to occupy my time. I’ve made a couple of really cute knit hats, found a place to donate them AND signed up to volunteer but haven’t heard back from administration. I want to add, OF COURSE. No one cares how much people need each other. The kiddo is doing well in college. I got the money to get my upper teeth. The highlight of the month!

Hubby is staying in bed more and more. Leaves me really missing companionship. Sigh… life chugs right on though.
